Margaret Heffernan, the author of the book Willful Blindness delivers this incredible TED talk I just watched. In this brilliant talk, she shares the story of Dr. Alice Stewart from Oxford who was the first doctor to find out that the X-Ray of the pregnant women was the leading cause of Cancer in small children.

Margaret, in this talk, shares that, even though plenty of evidence, research results and public records were produced by Dr. Stewart, the authorities of European and American medical establishments took 25 years to abandon the use of X-Rays of pregnant women.

It's amazing how many people do not read one book in their lifetime after getting out of school (or college). Well, I was one of those as well for several years. Never read a book, never attended a seminar or a workship for a long time!

Time Management - How We Manage Our Time Impacts What We Get From Life

Until one day, a family friend handed over "The Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People" by Dr. Stephen Covey and, that one book, changed the direction I was headed towards in my life. That was the first book I picked up, and since then, I never stopped reading. Continue Reading…

I decided to write this post on the Network Marketing business in this post. When I talk about business, this is one business model I have found that is very interesting and worth spending sometime learning and researching about.

Network Marketing - A Legitimate And Powerful Business Model

Thanks to the social media and the internet, meeting people has become so much easy. Sharing my content, networking with people from around the world, I met some of the most phenomenal people who I would have never met otherwise. It is absolutely amazing what can be accomplished in this social media dominated world today!

Is it perfect? Absolutely NOT! I keep running into people from every industry who want me to do something for them, people, who want to get me into something or sell me something – all the time. Since it is easy to communicate with others today, the noise is high too when it comes to internet and social media marketing.

Let’s face it, who doesn’t have problems? If you have problems in your life, that’s simply means that you’re alive. Problems come unbidden, and oftentimes unexpectedly. So when they do, no matter their size, they need to be dealt with.

Hot Air Balloon Problem Solving Technique by Bill Butler

Many of our problems are a result of our own blunders. We often make mountains out of molehills such that avoiding the day ahead seems like the only viable option. But the truth is… avoiding problems will not solve them. It will only serve to magnify and exacerbate them.

One thing I enjoy doing is, going to the Toastmasters meetings and participating. I have been an active Toastmaster for sometime now and that has really impacted my public speaking and leadership abilities in a positive way.

It was a funny moment today when I was asked to speak about my favorite game in the Olympics and I was kind of not up-to-date with the progress today. I had to admit and everybody laughed!

London Olympics 2012 Stadium - Life Is Marathon Not An Spring

However, one of the speakers, shared the history of the Olympics. He shared how it all started and how slowly it evolved in today's form of game where 28 games and more than 300 events are being organized in London as I write this post. I felt that was an amazing story!

This is the famous speech by the legendary Steve Jobs. This speech has been spoken the most about, watched the most and a few things have been criticized as well. However, it is one speech that falls in my favorite cateory and therefore, I decided to share on my website as a resource to go back to watch whenever there is a need for me and for you.

A few things he said in this speech that I found very inspiring are:

  • You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.
