The success of your email marketing depends on how many people open your email. Obviously there is no point in sending emails to those who don’t even open your emails, right?
Email open rates seem to be an important metric for many internet marketers. In fact, I have been very diligently following email open rates for a long time.
But, it changed after my friend and a fellow entrepreneur, Adrian Jock helped me understand this correctly.
Due to a few personal commitments and pressing projects this week, I couldn’t put together a post that could add value. I didn’t want to publish because I must publish something.
Therefore, I am not publishing any additional post this week.

Those of you who know me, know that I have a good size network marketing business. Those of you who know how true network marketing works, also know that it’s about building organizations, building leaders, and it’s not an easy overnight process.
I have a growing business in 5+ countries. The reason I share my experience isn’t because I want to impress you, but to tell you that I have spent years in this industry and I know what it takes to build a business that can pass the test of time.
Let me state a few facts to provide a starting point based on a fair understanding of the network marketing business model.
Social media is so irresistible that it’s almost impossible to stay away from it. How many times have you come across a situation where you wanted to sign up for a new product or service and it wants you to sign up with your Facebook or Twitter account?
Well, social media is now integrated into our online lives.
I have friends who hate Facebook for philosophical reasons but can’t get out of it because other products and services they use need them to have a Facebook account. Obviously they hate Facebook even more.
Everybody seems to talk of “To-Do-List” and I had shared about it earlier when I shared how I manage my list as well.
However, having a “Not-To-Do” list is equally important, if not more so, because I have been in situations recently where there are more things lined up for me to act upon while I am not yet done with my current task at hand. Situations like this bring frustration.
What I noticed with experience is, as we get better at doing our work effectively, we also attract more and more attention from others and that means more assignments.
If you are using an Autoresponder service like Aweber or GetResponse, are you making sure you keep your mailing list clean? I ask because, sometimes, not cleaning your list may cost you money.
Those who know me personally, know that I don’t pay much attention to fine prints. I don’t like to do house cleaning activities very often either.
Just by fluke I happened to see consistent emails from Aweber (which I store in a separate folder in my Gmail account) month after month this year so far saying they were able to charge my credit card successfully.
Building links and getting social media shares to build better search engine ranking is the top priority for everybody with a website, and for good reasons.
Why not? More traffic does mean more opportunities and more opportunities means more money, isn’t that correct?
But, as smart marketer, you want to be prepared for what happens when you start to get the traffic you always wanted. You want your website to have the infrastructure in place to capitalize on that traffic.
What does that really mean? And, how do you do that?
Even if you don’t have any problem in writing effectively and consistently, I am sure you know people who want to, but can’t express themselves in writing.
I have had friends who loved what I do on my blog. They also wanted to make money just as I do through blogging and online marketing. So, I helped them set up their websites and many of them stayed active for a while.
But then something happened down the line and they lost their dream. That isn’t a new thing for me because people do let other people and situations steal their dreams all the time.
If you are planning to setup a private membership website, probably, this is your major concern. Where should you host your videos securely? How do you ensure that you do not lose a lot of money? Have you found your answers yet?

Somebody I am coaching to set up a business shared a concern that triggered this post today. It’s very common and one of the things I struggled with in the beginning as well.
