John F. Kennedy added to the front end of the famous quote, “Knowledge is power.” This is true, of course, but only when it is applied.
Well, this sounds a bit bitter in times of NSA assaults on everyone’s privacy. Power can be usurped, and the usurpation of knowledge not voluntarily shared is an infringement of basic human rights. I wonder if under Kennedy the same thing would have happened. And many believe that he was not to see the end of his presidency because he held some strong views. We’ll probably never know.
Absolutely right. John F. Kennedy was the one of the best US Presidents of the time the world did managed to get. His quotes still speaks to our heart as if they have been spoken today
I find the saying more relevant today than at the time of JF Kennedy given the increased terrorist threat around the world.
