Those who know my hosting business, know that I have been hosting several websites (WordPress and others) on AWS Server for many years and one my favorite ways to manage  Wordpress websites on my AWS servers has been using Plesk, for one reason, a comprehensive and easy to use GUI based control panel solution.

But as it occurred to me that the cost of hosting and yearly pricing of Plesk itself has been going up over the years, I needed to find a better way to cost-effectively manage my websites.

Now, I am not a Unix/Linux expert and have not managed servers. And hiring server admins will simply cost me way more than Plesk (especially since they have good support to deal with any server issues that need human intervention). So, I decided to check with Cloude.ai about my confusion and just explore if this was an idea worth exploring.

I did not move my websites from GoDaddy for a long time simply because I was frightened about the effort involved in moving my websites to a new web host. I have since then moved many websites from one host to another for me, for my friends and for a few of my clients. I have moved WordPress websites using Duplicator Plugin, using ManageWP (which is an excellent way to get the job done) and moving everything manually without using any external tool or service. I can tell you today, migrating your WordPress website is not as difficult as it seems.
