In a recent motivational seminar I attended, one of the top coaches from one of the top private franchisee businesses said from the stage that “Life isn’t fair.” He also added that “life isn’t supposed to be fair and that is what makes it so worth living.”
He was absolutely inspirational and ignited the spirits with his authentic talk. Everybody was moved. But I can’t forget a statement he made challenging the audience which went something along these lines:
If life hasn’t hit you yet folks, get ready because it will.
Awesome TED Talk By Neil Pasricha
Neil Pasricha, author and blogger behind 1000awesomethings.com, gives an incredible and inspiring TED Talk presentation about overcoming hardships and appreciating the little things in life. I came across this video as it was forwarded to me by a friend. After watching, I was moved by this talk so much that I decided to share it with you here.
In this seventeen and half minute talk, Neil talks about his own life and important events that led him in life to where he is today. He talks about his parents migrating to a new country, his childhood, his marriage, hardships and how he started his blog at a low point in his life that changed the course of his life.
Here is one of the most powerful message from the last seconds of the video that I would like to quote:
You will never be as young as you are right now. And that's why I believe that if you live your life with a great attitude, choosing to move forward and move on whenever life deals you a blow, living with a sense of awareness of the world around you, embracing your inner three year-old and seeing the tiny joys that make life so sweet and being authentic to yourself, being you and being cool with that, letting your heart lead you and putting yourself in experiences that satisfy you, then I think you'll live a life that is rich and is satisfying, and I think you'll live a life that is truly awesome.
What an incredible message to remember today and everyday. I hope you will be as speechless as I was when I was done watching this video. Enjoy!

The video was very inspiring, but for some people it is hard to smile all the time when life is giving them lemons. Liked a few of his comments and the way he uses his own life to show others how to make the most of their lives.
