5 Easy Steps To Overcome Procrastination Challenge
We are always complaining that our days are few, and acting as though there would be no end of them. ~Lucius Annaeus Seneca [tweet this]
I had mentioned in an earlier post that I was recently taking an inventory of my daily activities in an attempt to find out how am I doing in the area of managing my priorities and my daily agenda. I do this activity towards the end of each year to reflect upon how I have been doing on the time management front during last several months.
I decided to write today on procrastination because one of the reasons I do my personal activity tracking exercise is, to find out how much I am procrastinating these days.
According to research reports that I came across, indications are that 90 to 95% of people procrastinate in one way or another. I do as well, and therefore I plan each time to take action steps diligently everyday to overcome the procrastination challenge.
How To Live Positively And Powerfully Everyday
A couple of days ago, as I was taking an inventory of my daily activities, I was amazed to see the list of things I got done just in one day. My list had activities starting from paying bills, dropping and picking up kids from school, going to meetings, meeting potential customers, attending networking events and all the way to publishing a new article for this blog.

Wow! It is just amazing how much we can get done just in a day these days. With all the new technologies, gadgets, fast paced life and new ideas coming our way, our lives are so much better already.
Choosing The Best Blogging Platform For Your Needs
The rewards of blogging are awesome. However, your blogging challenge begins as soon as you get engaged in choosing the best suited platform for your blogging needs. It is an important point to think about if you are just starting out on the journey and it also confuses many aspiring bloggers, naturally.

We discussed earlier, why blogging is important for your personal branding, and now, having established the need for blogging, let’s discuss what is the best platform for your blogging needs.
Today, there are several blogging platforms to choose from as you get ready to start. However, the best thing is, you aren’t stuck for life with the platform you choose today. If you get started with one platform and later decide that you want to switch to another, it’s very easy to do that as well. Therefore, it should make your decision much easier.
What You Should Expect Before Starting Your Business
As an entrepreneur, soon after starting my first business, I realized that starting a business and then managing it properly is way more complicated than I originally thought it would be. In my case though, I did not even expect to make any money. I just started out to learn what it means to be in business for myself. I wanted to get a taste of entrepreneurship.

However, on the way, I started to believe more and therefore, started to commit more towards making it happen. I think it all worked out great in my case since I started with no expectations.
What I’ve noticed though is, almost everyone who has worked for someone has at some point thought about going into business for themselves. It’s a great idea and because you can work for yourself, express your own creativity, and if you’re lucky, you may even have absolute financial freedom.

Success Is Sweet When Your Loved Ones Celebrate With You
I was watching a Bollywood movie, Shaarabi recently where the multi-millionaire father is so busy building and managing his business that he has no time for his only son. As the story goes, the son (though kind hearted), turns into an alcoholic who hates his own dad.

While the movie is very entertaining it reminded me of the dangers of ignoring our family, our own loved ones, while we search for future happiness.

What Not To Do On Social Media If You Are An Entrepreneur
Knowing what not to do while using social media for business is at least as important as knowing what we must do to leverage social media for busness. Earlier, I shared how to leverage social media for business where we discussed some of the basic steps for the entrepreneurs to take control of their personal brand and online reputation for business success.

Social media is the most powerful tool in hands of an entrepreneur who can leverage its power for business growth. If done right, the benefits of using social media platform are tremendous.
However, it is equally important to know and remember the cardinal rules of using social media for business. If used inappropriately, social media is powerful enough to only increase the pain.
