Doing What Must Be Done by Chad Hymas, is the book I have been reading since last week as I mentioned in my last post, Positive Thinking – It Takes Work While Negative Is Automatic. Now that I have just finished the book, I must admit, I couldn't keep the book down until finished. If I had to take a break for any reason, I got restless until I got back to reading again.

I am overwhelmed with the inspiration, the motivation and the positive thinking this book has pumped into my soul. It's an absolutely incredible story with absolutely incredible messages throughout the pages!

Chad Hymas, the author, is a world record wheelchair athelete with a new world record of wheeling his chair for 513 miles from Salt Lak City to Las Vegas in July 2003. He has been named "One of the 10 Most Inspirational People In The World" by the Wall Street Journal. Chad is also the youngest ever to be inducted into the prestigious Speaker Hall of Fame of the National Speakers Associations.

Scribe SEO is a copywriting tool by Copyblogger that I personally started using as a trial since Michael Hyatt recommended in his book, Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World. It comes as a plugin for the WordPress users though it's available for other blogging platforms as well. Since I installed Scribe's WordPress plugin, I have been exploring its features.

Meanwhile, I ran surveys on social media platforms, asked question to the SEO experts around in my network and other bloggers. I actually got mixed responses from the people who responded. The most interesting thing was, most people I asked responded, "I have heard about it but I have not yet tried the tool personally." Thanks to the social media and the internet, meeting people has become so much easy. Sharing my content, networking with people from around the world, I met some of the most phenomenal people who I would have never met otherwise. It is absolutely amazing what can be accomplished in this social media dominated world today!

Is it perfect? Absolutely NOT! I keep running into people from every industry who want me to do something for them, people, who want to get me into something or sell me something – all the time. Since it is easy to communicate with others today, the noise is high too when it comes to internet and social media marketing.

One thing I enjoy doing is, going to the Toastmasters meetings and participating. I have been an active Toastmaster for sometime now and that has really impacted my public speaking and leadership abilities in a positive way.

It was a funny moment today when I was asked to speak about my favorite game in the Olympics and I was kind of not up-to-date with the progress today. I had to admit and everybody laughed!

However, one of the speakers, shared the history of the Olympics. He shared how it all started and how slowly it evolved in today's form of game where 28 games and more than 300 events are being organized in London as I write this post. I felt that was an amazing story!
