Doing What Must Be Done by Chad Hymas, is the book I have been reading since last week as I mentioned in my last post, Positive Thinking – It Takes Work While Negative Is Automatic. Now that I have just finished the book, I must admit, I couldn't keep the book down until finished. If I had to take a break for any reason, I got restless until I got back to reading again.
I am overwhelmed with the inspiration, the motivation and the positive thinking this book has pumped into my soul. It's an absolutely incredible story with absolutely incredible messages throughout the pages!
Chad Hymas, the author, is a world record wheelchair athelete with a new world record of wheeling his chair for 513 miles from Salt Lak City to Las Vegas in July 2003. He has been named "One of the 10 Most Inspirational People In The World" by the Wall Street Journal. Scribe SEO is a copywriting tool by Copyblogger that I personally started using as a trial since Michael Hyatt recommended in his book, Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World. It comes as a plugin for the WordPress users though it's available for other blogging platforms as well. Since I installed Scribe's WordPress plugin, I have been exploring its features.
Meanwhile, I ran surveys on social media platforms, asked question to the SEO experts around in my network and other bloggers. I actually got mixed responses from the people who responded. Margaret Heffernan, the author of the book Willful Blindness delivers this incredible TED talk I just watched. In this brilliant talk, she shares the story of Dr. Alice Stewart from Oxford who was the first doctor to find out that the X-Ray of the pregnant women was the leading cause of Cancer in small children.
Margaret, in this talk, shares that, even though plenty of evidence, research results and public records were produced by Dr. Stewart, the authorities of European and American medical establishments took 25 years to abandon the use of X-Rays of pregnant women.
